Job Title:

CNC VTL Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

CNC VTL (Vertical Turning Lathe) Operator

to set up, operate, and maintain VTL machines to produce precision components as per drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC VTL machines to manufacture components as per specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Load and unload jobs safely using cranes or lifting tools Set tools, offsets, and perform basic program edits if required Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, etc. Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning Identify defects and report issues to supervisors Follow safety rules and company quality standards

Requirements / Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade (preferred) 1-5 years of experience as a CNC VTL Operator Good knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters Ability to handle heavy jobs and work in shifts Basic knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc / Siemens / similar) Understanding of quality checks and inspection procedures
