Job Description

Machine Setting & Operation

Set up CNC VTL machines as per job requirements. Ensure proper loading and setting of tools, fixtures, and workpieces. Read and interpret technical drawings, part programs, and process sheets. Perform first piece inspection and make necessary offsets or adjustments.

Supervision & Incharge Duties

Supervise a team of operators and setters to ensure smooth workflow and shift targets. Allocate jobs to machines and ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment. Monitor daily production output, downtime, and coordinate with planning and maintenance teams. Maintain production logs and shift reports.

Quality Assurance

Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production. Coordinate with QC team for in-process and final inspections. Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize rework and rejection rates.

Tool & Process Management

Plan and maintain tool inventory for smooth operations. Collaborate with process engineering for cycle time improvement and cost optimization. Ensure proper upkeep of machines and support preventive maintenance activities.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety rules and housekeeping practices. Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO standards, and 5S practices.
