Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe machines according to production drawings and process instructions. Load raw materials and fixtures, and align workpieces accurately. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, offsets, and fixtures. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced within specified tolerances. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges. Make necessary adjustments to machine parameters to maintain product quality. Maintain daily production and inspection records. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure smooth operation. Report tool wear, machine issues, or deviations to the supervisor immediately. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.

Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience in CNC VTL machine operation and setup. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and G-code programs. Knowledge of machining parameters and cutting tools. Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection methods. Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Basic understanding of CNC programming and coordinate systems. Commitment to safety and teamwork.
