Job brief:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC/ VMC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate

Will have extensive knowledge in operating CNC machines, specifically Computer

Numerical control (CNCs) with 3, 4, and 5-axis capabilities. The successful candidate will have

A strong understanding of various industries, including aerospace, aerospace tooling, oil &

Gas, and nuclear projects, as well as machining processes, cutting tools, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities:

o Develop and optimize CNC programs for CNC / VMC 3Axis,4th Axis & 5Axis using MASTER CAM

software based on engineering drawings, models, or instructions.

o assist an Operator to Set up and operate CNC / VMC machines to produce high-quality parts.

o Optimize cutting tool selection, machining parameters, and machining sequences to

achieve optimal machining results.

o Inspect parts to ensure they meet design specifications.

o Optimize machining processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.

o Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and solve machining

issues.

o Maintain accurate records of programming changes, tooling, and machine maintenance.

o Continuously improve processes to increase efficiency and quality.

o Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

o Diploma Mechanical Engineering; technical school or vocational training preferred

(ITI,NTTF,GTTC,CTTC & BE Mechanical).

o Minimum of 3years of experience programming and operating CNC / VMC machines.

o Proficient in

Mastercam

software.

o excellent knowledge of clamping techniques and cutting tools.

o Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming

o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

o Familiarity with a wide range of materials and machining processes

o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

o Strong communication and collaboration skills

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team

o Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
