Job Summary

1.

Requires the Knowledge of computer numerically controlled or CNC programs to be used for automating machinists.

2.

Creates instructions for machinists.

3.

Reviews 3D CAD design blueprints.

4.

Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.

5.

Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.

6.

Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.

7.

Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software.

8.

Determines sequence of operations in a program.

9.

Chooses cutting tools that will be needed.

10.

Write low level complexity CNC milling and turning programs that execute successfully, efficiently and safely.

11.

Read code in programs and make alterations to existing programs.

12.

Explain why any line of code that the Programmer has written is necessary and what would happen if it is eliminated.

13.

Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.

14.

Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes.

15.

Analyze the behavior of code to diagnose a problem and find the underlying cause.

Qualifications and Skills

1.) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

2.) Auto Cad , Pro -E

3.) Knowledge of CNC Programming

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹48,525.00 per month
