Key Responsibilities

Programming:

Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs (G-code/M-code) using CAM software for VMC machines.

Machine Setup:

Select, install, and set tools, fixtures, and materials; perform tool changes and offsets.

Operation:

Load/unload workpieces, start & monitor machine cycles, and adjust parameters for optimal performance.

Quality Control:

Interpret drawings (GD&T), inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers), and ensure compliance with specifications.

Maintenance:

Conduct routine maintenance, clean machines, and troubleshoot minor issues (e.g., tool wear, program errors).

Collaboration:

Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Safety:

Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

ITI, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience:

Proven experience in VMC operation, setting, and programming (Fanuc, Siemens controllers preferred).

Technical Skills:

Blueprint reading, G/M code, tooling knowledge, precision measurement, problem-solving.

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, teamwork, communication.
