Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented
VMC Operator
to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate VMC machines independently.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
Select and install correct tooling and fixtures.
Perform program loading, offsets, and minor edits (Fanuc / Siemens / other controllers).
Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure components meet quality standards.
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Troubleshoot machining issues and report any malfunctions.
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
Maintain proper documentation of production and inspection reports.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a VMC Operator or in a similar role.
Knowledge of CNC programming (G-code/M-code) and controller operations.
Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
Understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
Good communication and team-working skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-axis VMC machines (3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis).
Knowledge of CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, etc.) is a plus.
Exposure to ISO/TS manufacturing environments.

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
