Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced

CNC VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operator

to operate, set up, and maintain CNC machines in a manufacturing environment. The operator will ensure production quality, efficiency, and safety while producing precision components as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Operate and monitor CNC VMC machines to produce precision parts. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files. Load raw materials and ensure proper machine setup. Make tool changes and offset adjustments as needed.

Quality Control:

Conduct in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes as specified. Report any non-conformance or machine issues to supervisors.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning. Ensure all safety protocols are followed. Identify and report any potential hazards.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate production records, including part counts and inspection results. Follow job sheets, SOPs, and quality standards (ISO/TS as applicable).

Teamwork:

Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues. Train junior operators if required.

Qualifications and Skills:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent. 2+ years of experience as a CNC VMC Operator in a manufacturing setup. Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming basics. Familiarity with Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls (as applicable). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Proficient in using measurement instruments (Vernier, micrometer, height gauge). Basic understanding of machining processes and tooling.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
