Job Description

Fluidline Hydro Equipments is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Turning and CNC VMC Machine Coder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC turning and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines to produce precision components that meet our high-quality standards. This role requires experience in CNC programming, understanding of machine operations, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Operation

: Develop, load, and test programs for CNC turning and VMC machines based on engineering drawings and specifications.

Machine Setup

: Set up CNC machines, including tool selection, workpiece securing, and calibrating the machine for production.

Quality Control

: Perform inspections and quality checks on finished components to ensure adherence to specified tolerances and quality standards.

Troubleshooting

: Identify and resolve operational issues with machines and programs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Maintenance

: Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines, ensuring optimal machine health and performance.

Continuous Improvement

: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to enhance production processes and improve machining quality and efficiency.
Requirements

Technical Skills

: Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.

Experience

: Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating and programming CNC turning and VMC machines.

Education

: Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or a related field.

Attention to Detail

: High level of precision and attention to detail in programming and machining.

Problem Solving

: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve programming and operational issues.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of specific CNC control systems, such as Fanuc or Siemens. Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models. Familiarity with measurement tools, such as micrometers and calipers, for quality inspection.
