: Diploma / BE - Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

Independently

set, program, and operate

CNC Turning Centers & VMC machines. Create, modify, and optimize

CNC programs

(Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi or equivalent). Plan

process sequences, cutting parameters, tooling, and fixtures

for efficient machining. Conduct

first-off inspection, dimensional verification, and process validation

. Troubleshoot complex machining/programming issues and provide corrective actions. Train and guide junior operators and setters to improve skill levels. Monitor

tool performance

, suggest improvements, and ensure cost-effective machining. Ensure adherence to

quality standards, tolerances, and customer specifications

. Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams for

process improvements

. Implement and sustain

5S, safety, and preventive maintenance practices

. Support new product development (NPD) and prototype machining activities.

Skills & Competencies

Expertise in

CNC Turning and VMC programming & setting

(multi-axis preferred). Strong knowledge of

G & M code programming

and CNC controllers (Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi). Hands-on experience with

precision measuring instruments

and GD&T. Proficiency in

cutting tool selection, fixture design basics, and machining optimization

. Ability to read and interpret

complex engineering drawings & BOMs

. Strong

analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

. Leadership in mentoring operators and driving

continuous improvement initiatives

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Accuracy & consistency of machined components. Productivity & machine utilization. Reduction in cycle time, tool cost, and rework. Training and skill improvement of junior staff. Contribution to process improvements & cost savings.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
