ITI(Machinist) -- Mandatory / Diploma in Mechanical
Location: Adibatla, Telangana
Role Overview
Responsible for operating CNC turning machines, performing tool setting, controlling dimensions, and ensuring precision machining as per drawings/Process Documents
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC turning machines independently.
Perform turning job setup: chucking, clamping, tool holder setup, and tool offset settings.
Call programs and run machining cycles accurately.
Read and interpret turning component drawings and GD&T.
Conduct FPI (First Piece Inspection) and in-process inspection as per control plan/test plan.
Use measuring tools: Vernier, micrometer (inside & outside), bore gauge, thread gauge.
Perform minor edits to offsets and basic program modifications.
Understand turning operations: facing, OD/ID turning, threading, grooving, taper turning, boring.
Identify issues like tool wear, chatter, size variation, and surface finish problems.
Maintain coolant level, chip removal, and daily machine upkeep.
Meet production output and maintain job documentation.
Required Skill Set
Technical Skills
Good experience in CNC Turning.
Knowledge of FANUC / Siemens controls.
Ability to adjust tools, tool offsets, and correct size deviations.
Understanding of turning inserts, tool geometries, and machining parameters.
Quality & Drawing Skills
Ability to measure close tolerances accurately.
Understanding of GD&T and machining fits (H7, h8, etc.).
Experience in handling threads: metric, UNF, BSP, etc.
Soft Skills
Precision-focused approach.
Good communication with production and QA teams.
Ability to work in shifts & follow safety standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
