Job Summary:

A Turner Operator is responsible for operating lathe machines to perform turning operations on metal components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate conventional or CNC lathe machines. Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions. Set up tools, workpieces, and fixtures properly. Measure finished parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure proper lubrication. Follow safety standards and maintain quality in all operations. Report any machine- or tool-related issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of lathe machine operation. Ability to read mechanical drawings. Basic understanding of measurement instruments. Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Turner / Mechanical or related field.

Salary Range:

?15,000-?27,000 per month (based on experience and skill level).
