Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

CNC Setter / Programmer (Turning)

to join our manufacturing team. The role involves

manual CNC programming, machine setup, and optimization of turning processes

to produce high-precision ferrous and non-ferrous components. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with

Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines

.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in

Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or Tool & Die Making

Minimum

4+ years of experience

as a

CNC Turning Setter / Programmer

Hands-on experience in precision machining of

Non-Ferrous (Aluminium)

and

Ferrous materials

Strong knowledge of

CNC Turning operations

including facing, turning, boring, threading, grooving, and drilling Ability to read and interpret

Engineering Drawings and GD&T

Proficiency in

Fanuc Controls (Manual Programming)

Good understanding of

cutting tools, inserts, tooling geometry, and machining parameters

Strong

troubleshooting and problem-solving

capabilities Ability to work

independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and optimize

NC programs for CNC Turning machines

using

manual programming on Fanuc controls

Set up CNC machines including

tool offsets, work offsets, chucking, and tooling

as per job requirements Optimize turning processes for

cycle time, accuracy, surface finish, and tool life

Troubleshoot and resolve

machining, tooling, and programming issues

Conduct

first-off and in-process inspections

to ensure dimensional accuracy Use measuring instruments such as

micrometers, vernier calipers, bore gauges, SRT, and CMM

Perform

basic CNC machine maintenance

and ensure adherence to safety standards Coordinate with

Production and Quality teams

to meet delivery schedules Maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, and process documentation as per

IATF standards
