Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (e.g., Milling/Turning--please specify).
Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to achieve required tolerances.
Perform first-off inspections and in-process quality checks.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Work closely with supervisors and programmers to optimise machining processes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Troubleshoot issues and minimise downtime.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a CNC Setter in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
Strong understanding of machining principles and cutting tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.
Experience using measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts if required.
