Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

CNC Setter

to set up CNC machines for production runs by installing tools, setting offsets, and ensuring machines are ready as per drawing and process requirements. The role focuses on

machine setup and accuracy

, not full programming.

Key Responsibilities

Set up CNC machines (VMC / HMC / CNC Lathe) as per job requirements Load and verify CNC programs provided by programmer Install tools, holders, fixtures, and workpieces correctly Set tool offsets, work offsets, and check zero setting Conduct trial runs and make necessary adjustments Ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments Monitor first-off and in-process inspection Identify and report tooling or machine issues Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety standards Support operators during shift start and job changeovers

Machine & Controller Knowledge

CNC Lathe / VMC / HMC (as applicable) Fanuc / Siemens / Haas controllers (preferred) Basic understanding of G-code (for editing offsets & minor corrections)

Required Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, or CNC Trade 2-5 years experience as CNC Setter Strong knowledge of tools, inserts, fixtures, and gauges Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Hands-on experience in setting offsets and tooling Good understanding of machining processes and tolerances

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
