Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

CNC Router Operator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC router machines to cut and engrave materials such as

acrylic, WPC, wood

, and other composites. You will fabricate custom

name plates, name boards, neon lighting boards

, and signage products with precision, ensuring high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC router machines to cut, carve, and engrave designs on acrylic, wood, WPC, and other signage materials. Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and customer specifications. Load materials and set machine parameters based on job requirements. Perform machine setup, including tool changes and zero-point settings. Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are made accurately and efficiently. Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications. Carry out routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot basic issues. Collaborate with design and production teams for custom signage requirements (e.g., neon lighting boards). Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Record production data and maintain job logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience operating CNC routers (preferably in signage or decorative product industries). Experience with materials like acrylic, wood, WPC, and PVC. Ability to read and interpret CAD files (e.g., DXF, DWG formats). Familiarity with CNC software such as VCarve, ArtCAM, Aspire, or similar. Attention to detail and strong quality control skills. Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintenance. Understanding of safety procedures in a workshop environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in

neon board layout, assembly, or installation

is a plus. Knowledge of

laser cutting or engraving

machines. Ability to work with multiple types of CNC bits and tools. Hands-on skills in polishing and finishing of signage components.
