Job Description

Job Purpose

To create, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for machining components with high accuracy, productivity, and quality, ensuring efficient use of machines, tools, and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Develop CNC programs using

G-code / M-code

for milling, turning, or machining centers. Interpret

engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications

accurately. Select appropriate

cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters

. Optimize cycle time and reduce tool wear and scrap. Perform

program prove-out

on machines and make necessary corrections. Support CNC operators during setup and production runs. Ensure components meet

quality standards and tolerances

. Maintain program documentation and revision control. Coordinate with

production, quality, and maintenance teams

. Follow

safety, 5S, and company SOPs

strictly.

Machine & Software Exposure

CNC Turning / VMC / HMC / 5-Axis (as applicable) Controllers:

Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi / Haas

Software:

Mastercam / NX / SolidCAM / Fusion 360

(preferred)

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

machining processes and cutting parameters

Good understanding of

materials (MS, SS, Aluminum, CI, Alloy Steel)

Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues Basic knowledge of

jigs, fixtures, and tooling

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

Qualification

Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent ITI with strong CNC programming experience may be considered

Experience

2-5 years

of relevant CNC programming experience Experience in

production or job-work environment

preferred
