Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, and other machining operations.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
Determine machining methods, tool paths, and setups to achieve desired tolerances and surface finishes.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
Verify and prove out programs on machines; make necessary adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Work with machinists, engineers, and quality control to resolve programming or process issues.
Maintain organized records of programs, setups, and tooling data.
Continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle time and tool wear.
Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards in the machine shop.
