About the Role: The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating nesting software to create optimized layouts for sheet metal cutting, minimising material waste while meeting production schedules. Key Responsibilities: o Develop nesting programs/layouts using sheet metal nesting software (eg. Trumpf, Trumpf-boost) o Optimize use of sheet metal materials to reduce scrap. o Coordinate with CNC operators and production planners for smooth workflow. o Maintain accurate records and reports related to nesting activities. o Troubleshoot basic software and production issues. o Adhere to safety and quality standards. Educational Qualifications: o ITI in Computer Application and Programming Assistant(COPA), OR o ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Technology, OR o Certification/Diploma in CNC Programming, Sheet Metal Work, or Tool & Die Making, OR o Diploma or certification in Industrial Automation, CAD/CAM Technology, or Mechanical Drafting. o Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new software tools.
