Job Title: CNC & VMC Setter cum Programmer

Location: Kallapalayam, Coimbatore

Department: Production / Machining

Reports To: Production Manager / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines as per job specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining symbols. Prepare and edit CNC programs in Fanuc controller Select and install appropriate tools, jigs, and fixtures. Conduct first-piece inspection and ensure quality throughout production. Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments. Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure preventive maintenance is followed. Collaborate with QA team for in-process and final inspection. Ensure production targets and timelines are met.
Requirements:

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience in CNC & VMC setting and programming. Proficient in G-code/M-code programming and offset adjustments. Experience with tool selection and cutting parameter optimization. Knowledge of measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in VMC or turning centers. Familiarity with Both is is a plus. Understanding of ISO/TS quality standards..
