CNC Press Brake Operator

To operate CNC

Press Brake machines

for bending and forming metal sheets and plates accurately as per engineering drawings, ensuring quality, productivity, and safety standards in a fabrication shop.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC press brake machine for sheet metal bending Read & interpret

fabrication drawings and bend details

Select, install, and align

punch & die tools

Set bending parameters: angle, tonnage, back gauge, stroke Perform

first-piece inspection

and in-process quality checks Ensure dimensional accuracy and tolerance compliance Handle materials using crane / hoist safely Perform daily machine inspection and basic preventive maintenance Identify defects such as spring-back, over-bending, cracks Maintain production records, job cards, and rejection reports Follow safety norms, PPE usage & shop-floor discipline Coordinate with QC, welding, and assembly teams
Machines & Materials

CNC Press Brake (hydraulic / servo) Tools: Punches & dies (V-dies, gooseneck, acute) Materials: MS, SS, alloy steel, aluminium sheets Thickness: As per machine capacity

CNC press brake operation knowledge Strong

Qualification

ITI / Diploma (Fitter / Machinist / Turner / Sheet Metal) Freshers can apply (training provided)
Experience

0-5 years in press brake operations Fabrication shop experience preferred
Working Conditions

Day / Night shifts Shop-floor fabrication environment Physically active role with material handling

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
