YesCube is looking for a highly skilled and technically proficient

CNC Plasma Programmer & Nesting Specialist

to take full ownership of our Multi-Torch machine's programming, optimization, and operation management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Development & Management:

Create, debug, and optimize complex

G-code and M-code

CNC programs for the 6-torch plasma cutter, ensuring high precision cuts for various PEB components (flanges, webs, stiffeners, etc.). Maintain and manage a clean, organized library of all cutting programs and revisions.

Nesting Optimization (Critical):

Utilize advanced

nesting software

(e.g., SigmaNEST, ProNest, etc.) to develop efficient cutting layouts, maximizing material utilization and significantly minimizing steel plate scrap and waste. Determine the optimal plate sizes, orientations, and cutting sequences for multi-torch operation.

Process Quality & Efficiency:

Set and adjust cutting parameters (amperage, voltage, gas flow, speed, standoff) to achieve the highest possible

cut quality

while minimizing consumables wear and cycle time. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot programming and cutting issues (e.g., dross, taper, piercing problems), and implement corrective actions.

Engineering Collaboration:

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications from the Design team to translate them accurately into cutting programs. Work with the Production Planning team to sequence cutting jobs efficiently based on production schedules.

Training & Safety:

Provide hands-on training and guidance to machine operators on program loading, setup, and safe operating procedures for the new 6-torch system. Ensure strict adherence to all machine safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Technical Expertise (Must-Haves)

Minimum 3+ years

of direct experience in CNC programming for plasma, oxy-fuel, or laser cutting machines.

Demonstrated expertise in steel plate nesting software

and material yield optimization. High proficiency in reading and interpreting complex

engineering drawings

and specifications. Strong working knowledge of

G-code and M-code programming

. Deep technical understanding of the

plasma cutting process

and its impact on material properties and cut quality. Experience operating and programming

multi-torch

or multi-head cutting systems.

Education

ITI/Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in CNC programming or CAD/CAM are highly desirable.

Soft Skills

Exceptional attention to detail and a high commitment to quality control. Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues under pressure. Excellent communication skills to train staff and liaise with engineering/production teams.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
