Job Description

Job Summary:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines used in the furniture manufacturing process. This includes interpreting technical drawings, setting up machines, selecting appropriate tools and materials, and ensuring high-quality precision cutting, drilling, routing, and shaping of wooden panels and components as per design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

Operate CNC routers, milling, and cutting machines used for wood, MDF, plywood, and laminate components. Set up and calibrate machines before production runs. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

Maintenance:

Perform daily maintenance checks on CNC machines and tools. Keep machines clean, lubricated, and in safe working condition. Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

Safety & Documentation:

Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies. Maintain records of production, job sheets, and maintenance logs. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
