Job Description

As a CNC Operator, your role involves operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision metal or plastic components according to specifications. You will be responsible for ensuring that machines are properly set up, monitored, and adjusted to maintain product quality and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines such as turning, milling, or grinding machines.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining operations.

Load raw materials and verify machine settings before operation.

Measure, inspect, and verify finished parts using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).

Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting of CNC machines.

Maintain accurate production records, including part counts and machine operation logs.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Coordinate with the quality and maintenance departments for inspection and machine upkeep.

Report any deviations, malfunctions, or defects to supervisors immediately.

Qualifications Required:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Tool & Die / Manufacturing.

1-3 years of experience as a CNC Operator.

Basic computer and math skills.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to safety.

Willingness to work in shifts if required.
