Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC VMC machines according to process sheets and engineering drawings. Load raw materials, tools, and fixtures as per job requirements. Perform machine offset adjustments and tool changes as necessary. Interpret and verify CNC programs (G & M codes) to ensure proper machine operation. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators. Maintain production logs and inspection reports accurately. Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per the drawing and customer requirements. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines. Report any equipment malfunction, tool wear, or non-conformance to the supervisor immediately. Follow workplace safety and 5S housekeeping standards.

Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience in CNC VMC machine operation and setup. Strong understanding of machining processes and cutting tools. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CNC programs. Knowledge of tool offsets, work offsets, and coordinate systems. Proficiency with measuring instruments and inspection procedures. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of CAD
