Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

CNC Operator

to run CNC machines for the manufacturing of railway components such as

switches, crossings, and expansion joints

. The candidate should have hands-on experience in operating CNC turning/milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring high-precision machining.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines to manufacture railway components as per drawings. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the CNC machine. Interpret engineering drawings and ensure dimensional accuracy. Monitor machining operations and adjust parameters as required. Maintain machine cleanliness, preventive checks, and minor troubleshooting. Ensure production targets, safety, and quality standards are met. Coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors for smooth workflow.

Requirements

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Machinist / CNC Operation

. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in CNC machine operation (preferably in heavy engineering/railway components/forging/foundry). Knowledge of CNC programming basics (Fanuc/Siemens controls preferred). Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Willingness to work in shifts.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
