Operate CNC machines (e.g., lathe, milling, grinding) safely and efficiently.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
Load raw materials and set up tooling and fixtures.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments.
Perform routine maintenance on machines (e.g., cleaning, lubrication).
Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Document production activities and report any machine malfunctions.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical training or experience in CNC machine operation preferred.
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring instruments.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
