Job Duties

Manages CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling. Prepares and loads raw materials and parts onto the machines Checks and replaces inserts for blunt edge, cleans the pockets of the inserts, Checks if the first piece produced is within the given tolerance and meets the quality standards. Ensures the CNC machine operates in accordance with the fed program on the CNC machine Inspects and measures finished products and compares them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly Checks machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality. Routine maintenance of CNC machines; checks oil levels, coolant levels and concentration, and monitors overall machine performance Records all machine actions by completing production and quality logs. Communicates issues that arise in the process of creating a part Ensures that results of machining process align with client expectations. Conducts regular CNC machine assessments. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Inspects the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift.
