. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines used in mold making, tool fabrication, and component machining. The CNC Operator will play a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, meeting quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Shift & Workflow Management
Develop and follow shift schedules to ensure full CNC machine coverage.
Plan and prioritize daily machining activities based on job urgency and production deadlines.

On-Floor Leadership & Training
Guide and brief CNC operators on job specifics and requirements.
Provide hands-on training and demonstrations for proper machine handling and safety practices.
Mentor junior operators to ensure process consistency and adherence to quality standards.
3.
Machine & Tool Setup
Perform accurate machine setup including tool selection, fixture placement, offset settings, and program loading.
Ensure proper alignment, clamping, and calibration of machines before production begins.
4.
CNC Operation & Monitoring
Operate CNC milling and turning centers following engineering drawings and pre-programmed instructions.
Monitor machine behavior during production and make real-time edits or adjustments to optimize output.
Debug programs and troubleshoot basic machine or process issues as they arise.

Quality Assurance
Inspect machined parts using precision tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances and customer specifications.
Adjust machine parameters or offsets based on inspection feedback.

Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
Perform routine preventive maintenance and ensure machines remain clean and operational.
Adhere to 5S housekeeping standards to promote safety and efficiency.
Participate in lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives to minimize waste and downtime.
Qualifications
Minimum educational qualification:
ITI
in Mechanical or relevant trade.
Minimum
1 year of relevant CNC operating experience
(preferred in plastic molding/toolroom settings).
