Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The CNC Operator should have a strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and tool selection. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines according to specifications and instructions.
Load raw materials into the machine and secure them properly.
Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders.
Write and edit CNC programs using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
Select and install appropriate cutting tools for each job.
Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency.
Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the production process.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to optimize production processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or CNC certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and CAM software.
Ability to set up and operate CNC machines independently.
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
