Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesCNC Operation

Set up and operate CNC turning/milling machines as per job requirements. Load raw materials, calibrate machine tools, and monitor operations for accuracy. Perform tool changes, offsets, and preventive maintenance. Inspect finished components using Vernier, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments. Ensure production quality, machine safety, and adherence to timelines.

Design & Programming

Create 2D/3D component drawings using

AutoCAD / SolidWorks / Fusion 360

. Convert designs into CAM programs for CNC machining. Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T symbols, and material specifications. Optimize tool paths, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining.

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain job sheets, production logs, and inspection reports. Coordinate with production supervisors and quality teams for smooth workflow. Suggest improvements in machining processes and tool selection.

Skills & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die / CNC Operation. 1-4 years of hands-on CNC machine operation and design experience. Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software. Good understanding of machining processes and measurement tools. Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machine issues.
