The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce precision components according to specifications. This role is critical to our commitment to accuracy and efficiency, ensuring the highest standards of quality in every piece produced.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code programs.
Set up CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes) by installing and adjusting tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
Operate CNC machinery to perform various machining operations such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.
Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
Conduct in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation and extend machine life.
Identify and resolve machining issues, tool wear, and material defects.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, contributing to our 5S principles.
