The Sr. CNC Machining Development Engineer, is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing CNC machining processes to ensure high precision, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing. This role involves CNC programming, tooling selection, machine setup, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsible for KPI parameters costs, efficiencies in CNC shop.
Process Development & Optimization:
Design and implement CNC machining processes for new and existing components.
CNC Programming:
Create and optimize G-code and CAM programs for multi-axis CNC machines.
Tooling & Fixture Design:
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding solutions.
Machine Setup & Calibration:
Ensure accurate setup, calibration, and alignment of CNC machines.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct inspections using precision instruments and ensure compliance with GD&T standards.
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement:
Identify and resolve machining issues, improve cycle times, and reduce scrap.
Documentation & Training:
Prepare SOPs, process sheets, and train operators on new processes.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.
Education
: BE or DME with 10 +equivalent experience.
Work experience
: 5 years in the similar manufacturing industry.
Payment:
Rs. 45000-55000 /- with all benefits.
