Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise CNC operators, machinists, and shop floor staff. Plan, schedule, and prioritize daily machining operations to meet production goals. Ensure optimal machine utilization and minimize downtime. Maintain equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize manufacturability. Review and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and work orders. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures. Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables. Train and mentor shop personnel to enhance skills and performance. Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements:

Proven experience (10+ years) managing CNC and/or manual machine shop operations. Strong knowledge of CNC machines (mills, lathes, multi-axis, etc.), tooling, and G-code programming. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T. Understanding of materials, machining processes, and quality control methods. Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
