Key Responsibilities

: Set up and prepare CNC machines (lathe/milling/turning) according to job specifications and blueprints.

Qualifications

:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. 2+ years of experience as a CNC Setter. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using measurement tools. Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, or other CNC controls. Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

:

Experience with multi-axis machines or CNC turning centers. Knowledge of G-code and M-code. Familiarity with ISO/TS quality standards. Install and adjust tools, jigs, and fixtures for optimal machining. Load programs into machines and conduct test runs to ensure proper setup. Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances. Monitor machines during operation to ensure quality and troubleshoot any issues. Collaborate with CNC programmers and operators to optimize efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Perform routine maintenance on machines and report major issues. Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
