Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role ensures production efficiency, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines (Turning / Milling as applicable) according to daily production schedules. Set up tools, fixtures, and materials as per job requirements. Perform basic programming or offset adjustments as needed. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.). Maintain production records and report deviations or machine issues to the supervisor. Ensure machines are cleaned, lubricated, and maintained properly. Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE during operations. Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
