The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, or turning centers) as per production requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Load raw materials and perform part alignment and measurement.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
Maintain production logs and documentation.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
