JOB SUMMARY:

As a CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision-cut components and parts for manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency in the production process.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILTY:

1.

Machine Setup

: Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to understand the specific machining requirements. Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, selecting appropriate tools, and securing work pieces in the machine.

2.

CNC Machine Operation

: Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, shaping, and milling of various furniture components. Monitor the machine's performance, making necessary adjustments to ensure precise dimensions and high-quality finishes.

3.

Tool Maintenance

: Inspect and replace cutting tools, bits, and other machine accessories as needed to maintain optimal machine performance. Follow maintenance schedules to keep machines in good working condition.

4.

Quality Assurance

: Perform quality checks on finished pieces to verify that they meet design specifications, including dimensions, surface finish, and tolerances. Make adjustments to the CNC program or machine settings as necessary to maintain quality standards.

5.

Safety and Compliance

: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to machine operation.

6.

Troubleshooting

: Identify and resolve issues or malfunctions with CNC machines to minimize downtime and production delays. Communicate technical problems to maintenance or engineering teams when necessary.

7.

Documentation

: Keep detailed records of machine settings, production runs, and maintenance activities. Report any deviations or issues to the supervisor or relevant personnel.

8.

Team Collaboration

: Collaborate with other members of the production team, including designers, carpenters, and assemblers, to ensure the seamless flow of materials and components.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
