to join our machining team in Coimbatore. The candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate should have experience in machine setup, tool adjustments, and quality inspection to ensure all products meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC machines (Turning / Milling / VMC / HMC as applicable) to produce precision parts as per specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining requirements.
Set up machines, select tools, and load materials accurately for each job.
Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality.
Perform in-process and final quality inspections using measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).
Maintain proper documentation of production reports and inspection records.
Ensure machines are cleaned and maintained regularly as per maintenance schedule.
Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any mechanical or dimensional issues immediately to the supervisor or maintenance team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum
1-3 years
of experience operating CNC machines (Freshers with technical training may also apply).
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
Basic knowledge of tool offsets, speeds, and feeds.
Good understanding of quality control procedures and measuring instruments.
Willingness to work in shifts if required.
Strong attention to detail, discipline, and commitment to precision work.
