Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced

CNC Laser Cutting Machine Operator

for acrylic letter cutting and signage fabrication. The ideal candidate will operate laser cutting machines to cut, engrave, and finish acrylic sheets used for illuminated and non-illuminated 3D letters, signs, and logos for branding, retail, and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC laser cutting machines (CO2 or Fiber) for cutting acrylic, MDF, ACP, and other signage materials. Load design files (DXF, CDR, AI, or similar formats) and execute precise laser cuts. Cut and engrave acrylic letters, logos, and signage components as per design specifications. Perform material handling - loading, unloading, and proper stacking of acrylic sheets. Ensure clean, polished cuts with minimal charring or edge burns. Coordinate with the design team for file adjustments and layout corrections. Maintain machine cleanliness and perform regular maintenance checks. Troubleshoot minor mechanical or cutting issues to prevent downtime. Support signage fabrication processes such as pasting, assembling, or LED mounting (if needed). Maintain proper records of job output, material used, and wastage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 1-2 years experience with laser cutting machines in signage or acrylic fabrication. Ability to read and interpret signage designs and CAD files. Experience with software such as CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, RDWorks, or LightBurn. Familiarity with signage materials like acrylic, MDF, sunboard, foam sheet, ACP, etc. Basic knowledge of LED sign assembly and pasting (optional but preferred). Good understanding of machine calibration, focus, and safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field. Prior experience in signage or retail branding industry. Understanding of illuminated sign making (acrylic letters with LEDs).
