Key Roles & Responsibilities

Machine Operation

Operate CNC machines for gemstone cutting, shaping, and sizing as per job instructions. Set up tools, fixtures, and programs as guided by CNC Programmer or Supervisor. Monitor machine performance during operation and make minor adjustments if required.

Quality Control

Check gemstones for size, shape, symmetry, and surface finish. Identify defects such as cracks, chipping, or incorrect cuts and report immediately. Ensure minimal breakage and weight loss during machining.

Production & Output

Achieve daily production targets as assigned by CNC Supervisor/Manager. Maintain proper handling of precious and semi-precious gemstones. Record production output, rejection, and rework details.

Machine Maintenance & Safety

Perform basic machine cleaning and preventive maintenance. Inform maintenance team in case of machine breakdown or abnormal sounds. Follow all safety guidelines and proper use of PPE.

Coordination & Discipline

Coordinate with CNC Programmer, QC, and Production teams. Maintain cleanliness and organized workflow at the workstation. Follow company rules, discipline, and reporting hierarchy.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Knowledge of CNC machine operation (preferably in gemstone manufacturing). Ability to read basic drawings or CNC instructions. Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Experience

1-2 years

experience as CNC Machine Operator in gemstone or precision manufacturing. Freshers with CNC training may be considered.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
