Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled

CNC Operator

to operate and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The CNC Operator will work closely with production teams and engineers to meet production goals while maintaining safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

CNC Machine Operation:

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, grinders, etc.) to produce parts according to specifications.

Machine Maintenance:

Regularly perform maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and calibrating to ensure optimal performance.

Tool Setup & Calibration:

Set up tooling, fixtures, and programs in CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure they meet required specifications and tolerances.

Production Monitoring:

Monitor machine performance and output, making adjustments as needed to improve production efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or training in CNC operation or a related field preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CNC programming. Experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high precision.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods. Lifting and carrying of parts or materials up to . Comfortable working with machinery and tools.

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing or production facility environment. Possible exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals (PPE provided). Shift work or overtime may be required depending on production needs.
