The CNC Tenoner Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining tenoner and CNC tenoner machines used in woodworking to cut accurate and high-quality tenons for furniture and joinery. The role involves setting up machines, programming CNC operations, ensuring precision, maintaining safety standards, and achieving consistent production output.
Operate conventional Tenoner and CNC Tenoner machines for cutting tenons as per drawings and specifications.
Program, set up, and adjust CNC Tenoner machines to ensure accurate, repeatable, and efficient joint cutting.
Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM data, and production plans.
Select appropriate tools, cutters, and machine parameters based on material and joint requirements.
Perform trial runs and make necessary adjustments to achieve required accuracy and finish.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, productivity, and minimal wastage.
Inspect finished components using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Carry out routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams to meet delivery schedules.
Report machine issues, material defects, or production deviations to the supervisor.
