Job Summary:

The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts as per specifications. This role involves machine setup, programming (basic), quality checks, and adherence to safety standards to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation & Setup

Operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, router, etc.) as per production requirements. Set up tools, fixtures, and materials on machines. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.

2. Production & Quality Control

Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Perform in-process inspections and verify product dimensions using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). Ensure parts meet quality standards and specifications.

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of machines. Identify and report mechanical or technical issues to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of CNC machines.

4. Safety & Compliance

Follow company safety protocols and wear protective equipment. Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and raw materials. Maintain accurate records of production logs and reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field. 2-5 years of experience as CNC Operator (manufacturing/engineering industry). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & technical documents. Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming (basic preferred). Hands-on experience with measuring instruments. Attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
