Key Responsibilities:
Set up, program, and operate CNC lathe machines for precision production.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.).
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances and quality standards.
Conduct tool changes, offsets, and preventive maintenance as needed.
Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to optimize machining processes.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety and company procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience
operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of G-code and CNC programming principles.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to hold tight tolerances and produce quality parts.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Experience with [specific machine brand or control, e.g., Haas, Mazak, Fanuc] is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
