Job Summary:

The CNC Lathe Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role requires technical expertise in CNC lathe operations, adherence to quality standards, and a focus on efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce components according to drawings and job orders. Load raw materials and perform necessary adjustments to achieve required dimensions. Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality and precision. Conduct routine checks, measurements, and inspections using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. Perform basic troubleshooting of machines and report mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor. Maintain accurate production records and report daily output. Ensure all finished components meet quality standards and tolerances. Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain cleanliness around the work area. Collaborate with the production and maintenance teams for machine upkeep and improvements.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum

0 TO 4 years

of experience in operating CNC lathe machines. Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments. Basic knowledge of CNC programming and offsets (preferred). Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills.
