Responsibilities

Set up CNC laser cutting machines by selecting proper programs, lenses, and fixtures according to the material and job specifications. Load materials and run cutting programs, adjusting laser beam focal points and stop locations as needed. Create, edit, and manage laser cut files using CAD or graphic design software to optimize cutting efficiency and yield. Perform regular machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning to maintain peak performance. Conduct dimensional inspections and quality checks on finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications. Report defective materials or machine issues to supervisors and maintain accurate production records. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
