We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior CNC Designer to bridge the gap between creative interior concepts and precise manufacturing, operating CNC machinery to produce customized components for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Programming: Develop CAD/CAM models, write and optimize G-code/M-code programs for CNC mills, lathes, or routers.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
Machine Setup & Operation: Set up machines, load programs, select tools, and run test cuts.
Quality Control: Conduct quality assurance tests, inspect parts, and make adjustments to meet specifications.
Optimization: Improve programs for better efficiency, tool life, and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work with engineers and production teams to resolve machining issues.
Maintenance: Perform basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and troubleshooting.
Documentation: Maintain records of programs, processes, and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in CNC operation, preferably in the furniture or interior manufacturing sector.
Strong understanding of G-code and CNC machining principles.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, ArtCAM, RevitCAM).
Ability to read technical drawings, understand tooling, feeds, and speeds, and knowledge of G-code.
Attention to detail and precision.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of materials and tooling.
