Job Description

1.1 To develop new components for utilization of machines or equipments

1.2 To determine the requirements related to the product development.

1.3 To confirm the manufacturing feasibility for proposed components through MPD.

1.4 To establish the process capability of all operations at pre-launch stage.

1.5 To submit corrective and preventive action in case of process failure.

1.6 To optimize the machining time for established components.

4.2.2 Functions (Role) and Responsibility:-

A) HOD- EDD:-

a)

Overall control of design activities

b)

Support Contract review and development of a thorough understanding of customer requirements in interface with Marketing

c)

Selection of optimum machine / equipment configuration from alternate proposals to meet customer requirements.

d)

Import substitution.

e)

Approval of deviation requests and conditional releases including use of alternative materials.

f)

Development and planning for introduction of new items on machines, approve and decline their use.

g)

Allocation of resources and enforcement of review disciplines for completion of design activities as planned.

h)

Identification and maintenance of the required Company/National/International Standards.

i)

Co-ordinate equipment / machine tryout to customer satisfaction

j)

Overall control of development activities for new products , new equipment / machine tryout

k)

Design and development of Machines and Equipment

l)

Selection of optimum machine / equipment configuration from alternate proposals to meet requirements

m)

Identification of Research and Development projects for products and continuous design up gradation.

n)

Overall control of Process planning ,operations &Production activities

o)

Establishing and implementing the quality system and integrated plans for achieving and maintaining the required level of product quality and reliability in operations

p)

Approval of Production programs.

q)

Human skills acquisition, training and development of an active and vital group of personnel who are ready and willing at all times to take on the challenge of achieving Quality Policy and Quality Objectives

r)

Overall supervision and control of manufacturing activities including technical support functions viz. Process Planning and Production Control for monitoring and control of production and Maintenance function for maintaining the health of machines and equipments.

s)

Implementation of design changes in co-ordination with Design, QA, Planning and Service functions.

t)

Approves alternate machining processes.

u)

Monitoring the progress & control of production operations and activities as per process plans.

v)

Allocation of human resources and training/certification of personnel for special processes.

w)

Approves alternate machining processes.

x)

Inspection & Production trials of completed machines / equipment

y)

Allocation of resources and enforcement of review discipline for completion of assembly activities as planned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
