We are looking for an experienced Bending Operator proficient in operating Amada HRB series press brake machines. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling bending operations with a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication and machine setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up Amada HRB series press brake machines efficiently.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and bending diagrams accurately.
Prepare bending programs using the Amada control system.
Inspect finished parts and ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Select correct tools, dies, and machine parameters for each job.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the machine.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve process efficiency.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Amada HRB series press brake operations.
Good knowledge of bending sequences, tool selection, and angles.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and bending charts.
Experience in NC/NC9/Touchscreen controller programming (Amada).
Understanding of tolerances, materials, and fabrication processes.
Basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
Commitment to safety, precision, and quality workmanship.
Additional Advantage:
Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks drawing references.
Knowledge in sheet metal layout and nesting concepts.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or 5S principles.
